A welcome message from the new CEO of Adar: Phil Smith!
Dear Valued Adar Clients:
I’m excited to be writing to you as I step into the role of CEO at Adar. Delivering excellent cloud-based IT-as-a-Service solutions with a relentless focus on world-class support is at the heart of what Adar does. With Rigid Bits Cybersecurity joining the Adar family last summer, security and compliance consulting and solutions expanded our ability to further serve and protect our clients. As its new CEO, I wanted to introduce myself, share how excited I am to be joining Adar, and communicate our continued commitment to helping you drive success in your business.
Though I am new to Adar, I am not new to the technology industry. Most recently, I served as Chief Operating Officer at Racksquared data centers, a Cloud, Collocation, and Custom Data Center Solutions provider based in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to Racksquared, I held various senior leadership roles with Sterling Commerce, Unisys Corporation, CoreComm Networks, and MCI/WorldCom. Throughout my three decades of experience, I have gained an understanding of just how important providing people with outstanding technology solutions is to creating winning enterprises.
But while I love my job, I also have a life outside of the office! My wife, Dorothy, and I moved to a lakefront cottage a few months before the pandemic hit. We love living on the water, with the opportunity to ski, tube, and take sunset cruises—but the calming scenery is the best part. We also enjoy spending time with our daughter, Claire, who has just embarked on her journey as an elementary school teacher. She works in a suburban school district just outside of Columbus and really seems to enjoy her work. With Adar IT and Rigid Bits Cybersecurity’s clients, I am eager to connect over shared interests, learn more about your motivations, and see how Adar’s solutions can help empower you toward personal wins.
In addition to my joining the Adar team as CEO, I am pleased to announce the recent hiring of Thomas Finn as CFO of Adar. Tom brings significant experience as a CFO working in technology companies. John Mario continues to be a key contributor to Adar’s success and maintains his role as President and COO. I hope you’ve also had the pleasure of meeting Cody Palmer, our new Director of Customer Success. I am excited at the opportunity to work closely with John, Tom, and Cody as we continue to refine and improve your experience with our IT-as-a-Service platform and Cybersecurity services.
