What is changing for Applied?

Applied Systems is discontinuing the Applied Private Cloud service, including support and maintenance, effective March 31, 2025. All current users need to plan ahead to migrate to a new Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) provider, as current users will no longer have access to the service or applications after the discontinuation date.

Where do you go from here?

Migrating from Applied Private Cloud

It’s important to us that your migration from Applied Private Cloud to your new VDI service goes as smoothly as possible.

After a detailed consultation with one of our solutions experts, we’ll find the best options for your team’s needs based on your current setup and future goals. From there, we’ll collaborate between you and Applied to ensure a seamless migration.

Upon completion, we’ll test your new VDI platform to make sure everything is working correctly, and decommission your old VMs after the migration and testing is complete.

Setting up MFA in Applied Epic

Last year, Applied announced that MFA is now available in Applied Epic through Okta or Azure Entra ID. This does require some technical setup but should be turned on as soon as possible.
